POPSUGAR MUST HAVE subscription box - September

I truly believe that subscription boxes can be very addicting.
It's very much like opening a trading card pack. I have spent most of my high school life obsessing over NHL, Mighty Ducks to be more specific. I still can smell the brand new crisp cards when you just pull open the package. I think I loved the experience of getting a card pack and opening it and actually smelling the cards more than the value of cards itself.

Wow.
I didn't even think about ice hockey until I finished the first sentence.
So, long story short... I have subscribed to few subscription boxes and I just received my POPSUGAR MUST HAVE box.

I have seen very good reviews of them and it is totally just for me.
I suppose it will be a good monthly pampering for me. :)

I grabbed the deal from Rue La La and got it for actually somewhere around $15 because I already had $10 credit I didn't get a chance to spend for last year or so. Oh it was for one box of POPSUGAR MUST HAVE.
I was going to sign up for it anyway so I think it was worth the deal.
Only bummer was... that I didn't know they would start me with the September box.
As a Subscription Box newbie, I thought they would start me with the upcoming box, which would be the October box. So when I got the e-mail saying that my September box has shipped, I was slightly disappointed because I already knew the contents of it.

Oh well.
It came today and here is my honest review on it!

So here is my first POPSUGAR MUST HAVE Box.

Yes, I received the September box.

The little booklet describing the content of the box.

I really needed an earphone so this was one item that made me little bit glad that I didn't miss the September box. I have been using a $2 JetBlue earphone for past several months.
However... I'm so sad that it looks very much like the JetBlue one due to the color. :(
Otherwise, I love blue so it's all good. :)

Assorted cards by Rifle Paper Co.

Rifle Paper is my all time favorite stationary brand. So for anything from Rifle Paper would've made me very happy. However... this one doesn't really say Rifle Paper to me in my opinion.
To me, Rifle Paper is Anna Bond and Anna Bond is Rifle Paper. This one seems to be done by different artist.

One of the reasons I chose to subscribe to POPSUGAR MUSTHAVE box is because I saw that they include items from Rifle Paper frequently.

These pencil sets are very much like my Ticonderoga pencils in black, which is the only pencil I would buy with real money. (Yes, only in black, too) I haven't opened it yet because I think it will make an easy stocking stuffer for someone.

I haven't tried it yet but I am always glad to see snack bars in sub boxes. So easy to slip one in my purse for anytime snacking.

Never heard of this brand probably because I absolutely do nothing on my hair.
I wash my hair with LUSH shampoo bar. period.
Well, I blow dry it too just because I don't want to catch cold........
Let's see if this will ever even be touched in future.

Nike giftcard was good to see.
I have to read more on it but it seems like a genuine $20 gift card with no strings attached. (Meaning no minimum purchase) They also included free shipping! Time to go sneakers shopping for Sweet Boy!

Raise your hand if you are not happy to see an unexpected bag of chocolate!
I love snacks but I never really buy them for myself anymore...
So this is a true pampering for me :)
(Must hide from my husband.... or he will eat them all before I can get one piece in my mouth!)

The main piece of this box seems to be the scarf which I forgot to take picture of.
It looks like a great scarf with gorgeous color but I might give to my friend who loves scarves.

So there was my review of the September POPSUGAR MUSTHAVE box!
I can't wait till the October box comes!!!
